Tell us a bit about yourself…
After a career in accounting and raising 4 children, I took my passion for Pilates and Fitness and embarked on a new journey. I certified as a Personal Trainer in 2016, the day after my 40th birthday! I then went on to train as an APPI Clinical Pilates Teacher gaining my certification in March 2017. I am passionate about all aspects of health and wellness, especially for women. I have been teaching Pilates for 10 years now. I believe Movement is fundamental to a full and healthy life.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I usually start my day with breathwork and movement to ground my day. Then I will teach my sessions with private clients in the studio/online. Finishing my workday with some work on my social media content, filming or editing.
How did your Pilates journey begin and what inspired you to become a teacher?
I myself started my personal practice 14 years ago now on the advice of my chiropractor. The amazing benefits I gained lead me to qualify in personal training and the Pilates.
What inspired you to specialize in your practice?
The calm and overall sense of peace and strength I felt whilst working on my own practice was the motivation to take my personal practice further.
How have you seen your practice benefit your students?
Without a doubt, every client that comes to work with me will report life changing results from incorporating Pilates into their life.
What is your favorite quote or life motto?
Health is Wealth.
What’s coming up for you in 2024/2025?
I have recently been improving my speaking and qualified as a keynote speaker. My mission is to empower, motivate and inspire women to prioritize their own health and wellness.
